I strongly oppose the 3rd runway there are viable alternatives please seriously consider them. You need to visit homes affected by the noise pollution to understand our opposition

All conversation now stops when flights go over, they are so low. Volumes on TV, radio have to be turned up then down constantly as flights go over. Flights go over late at 11pm and re start 6am. My home has been spoilt, peaceful use of the garden now destroyed, not why I chose to live in this area!!

One of the reasons given for discounting the estuary option as cost. Has anybody taken into account how much The Heathrow site is worth as prime West London real estate? It might even exeed the cost of the new airport, with any luck. Then the estuary option becomes economically viable.

Is there a mechanism to reduce noise? Air craft noise affects the residents in close vicinity of the airport.

Unbelievable project in this day and age. Economic benefits uncertain and could be minimal. Environmental damage certain and massive.
