Heathrow extension not needed! The environmental impact will be massive, rerouting rivers etc, the human cost would include loss of peoples homes, villages that have been standing for centuries, completion date projected at 2040! How would this improve the economy sooner. Plus there’s a high probability Labour would even be in government in 4 years. This government plan is not neede!

I am originally from Hayes near Heathrow and my mum and dad are buried at Shepiston Lane. Also 3 villages will be wiped out. Say no to the 3rd runway

There is so much that is wrong with this plan it’s hard to know where to start…but in brief, we don’t want another miserable runway!
The old model of economic growth is always at the expense of the environment but it’s all wrong and people are beginning to wake up to this truth. So much for the new “government.”

It has become already too much even on Battersea. We wake up from plane noise. There is no more birds singing.

We need to cut Co2 emissions and this development will not achieve it. No amount of offsetting will reverse the damage this development will cause. It is dangerous and careless and bleak. Stop now.

We don’t need anymore airports we have Heathrow that serves the west, Gatwick the south, Luton the north and Stanstead the east. Plus London City airport. That’s enough. There are plenty of flights at the moment.

The noise of aircraft deafen already, interrupt daily life ie sleep, and the madness to expand beggers belief when the hot topic topic is clean air for Londoners. Please stop this utter maddess for the sake of quality of life for us and future generations
