It's ludicrous that so many people in one of the world's major cities are woken every night & early morning by night flights. It affects our well-being and ability to be economically productive citizens. Expansion will bring more misery to more people. Has anyone measured the economic loss to the economy caused by the night flights on residents?

Heathrow ultimately is in the wrong place for London and no amount of tinkering will address this fundamental problem; a new airport needs to be developed which will have the expansion capacity to handle aircraft volumes for the foreseeable future, i.e for the next 100 years plus...
