imagine the chaos wwhile it is being built. M25 andM4 already jammed solid at peak hours.

This is not the solution. Build a new airport that can deal with future needs.

The area around Heathrow Airport is to heavily populated for any more expansion. At least with the use of the alternative runways, we have some measure of relief. This would not happen if more runways were built.

please do not expand heathrow any further. although a very useful airport in its current form, it would simply be sleep depriving in any larger capacity. Regards - person on flight path

The noise is bad enough at the moment god only know what a third runway would bring. There are other options available instead of just bolting more runways onto an already overrun airport.

I cannot say strongly enough how much I am against this. I live in East Sheen and the levels of noise we have to put up with are already stretching our tolerance. Any more and the balance will be tipped - we will not stand for it.

Expansion of Heathrow is not the answer to Britain's aviation problems. Boris Island - altho' regarded by some as bonkers - is actually much the best option.

Noise levels are already unacceptable, especially the early longhaul arrivals from 4.30 a.m. onwards. A 3rd runway will adversely affect the quality of life further for those under the flight path

Look elsewhere for an expansion in airport capacity. Heathrow is overloaded.

Even as a regular user of Heathrow, I urge you to reject any suggestion of expansion. The pollution and noise created by Heathrow is a blight on SW London. Having large passenger aircraft overflying densely populated areas cannot be a good thing either. Recent unfortunate incidents involving air traffic highlight the safety risk. Heathrow has had it's day. We need a new facility. Singapore built Changi airport in three or four years and on reclaimed land. We should do the same. Forget HS2 and use the money to create a new world class airport facility.

Please can you put it somewhere else-the noise, the pollution...it's too much.
