Aircraft noise in the summer is totally unbearable. flight path times are frequently ignored and there is little respite. It is often quite impossible to enjoy sitting in the garden and quite impossible to hold a conversation if you do. It must be even worse as you get nearer to the airport. IT IS IN THE WRONG PLACE>

I am absolutely opposed to any expansion of Heathrow Airport. I am a Guide at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and already I am often forced to suspend my commentary to visitors every several minutes for twenty seconds at a time. Many people are visiting the UK for the first, maybe the only time. When are we going to take pollution by noise pollution and carbon emissions reduction seriously in this country. It shames me. I'm saddened by our lack of vision and intelligent response to scientific research. What happened to the 'Greenest Government Ever'?

Please, NO extra runway! The noise levels are unbearable already, causing a lot of stress and health problems.

We live under the flight path and the planes noise is already hard to bare. It waked up the baby at night and us in the morning PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THE SITUATION TO BECOME EVEN WORSE!!!

I live under the pathway from many flights to or from Heathrow and find the sound horrific. When I sit with friends in the garden we cannot hear one another when flights pass. Please seek alternatives other than that of expanding Heathrow airport. Kind Regards, Jean Watson OBE
