A decision to proceed with Heathrow expansion is a short term expedient stop-ga solution delivering considerable misery to many thousands without securing a long term sustainable answer to south east England's and UK's national strategic air tansport needs.

Please be aware that I am strongly against the expansion of Heathrow in any shape or form. The noise from aircraft is already intolerable. PLease look to alternatives

The high volume of air traffic is unacceptable. Nearly every morning at 4am I am waken by night flights. The flights are relentless today, and I can not imagine more. The noise polution and other pollution this creates over densely packed residential area would be illegal in any other first or second world country

An outrage that this "independent" commission has been established AGAIN so that by the tedium of making "enquiring" about people's feelings they will merely keep coming back to the same well until they recieve the answer they need. It is a blatant abuse of process and is an insidious reworking of democracy until eventually fatigue and a general ennui develops so that the now SILENT majority are now ignored.

Too much noise already - and danger for a highly built-up area.

Please please do NOT expand Heathrow. Please listen to the many thousands of people in South West London who have said and fought NOT to have Heathrow expanded. We live it day in day out, night in night out, and it would be absolutely intolerable and distructive to expand Heathrow. It is US and NOT other countries, eg. the Chinese, who should decide. The many campaigns, voices, events, petitions give you the clear answer. As the late Baroness Thatcher said NO NO NO! More flights will mean more accidents over a heavily populated area. We experience bodies, blocks of ice coming down. I was inches away from being killed by a huge block of ice that fell from a plane infront of me.

The impact of increased noise in already crowded skys will be horrendous. We already have blighted sleep and disturbed days - enough is enough

opposed to heathrow expansion. we should follow the li e of other major hubs and build a new fit for purpose airport with less human impact. eg the estuary.

Having lived in Kew for 35 years, I can only despair at the plan to increase Heathrow's capacity. Already the early morning flights blight our lives and it would be criminal to increase flights over such a highly populated area.

I strongly feel expansion of Heathrow airport will negatively affect lives of many residents living around Heathrow.

It is not appropriate to have additional air traffic at Heathrow due to noise, pollution and safety issues

I'm woken so many mornings from 4am. Heathrow affects the quality of life and health of hundreds of thousands of people every day. This is never taken properly into account. It is ridiculous to expand in such a densely populated area.
