SAY NO TO HEATHROW EXPANSION

It is crazy to increase traffic on a flightpath that already causes massive harm to west london residents. Please don't increase traffic into Heathrow.

Every other major city moved its airport to a better site a generation ago

Isn't it odd that, despite all the environmental concerns in the UK, and all the associated pressure groups, that so many people want even more noise and pollution from Heathrow. All the old nonsense about Heathrow expansion bringing more jobs to London and the importance of Heathrow to our economy will be trotted out. The most important thing is that Heathrow pollutes our environment and blights the lives of millions of Londoners. Enough is enough.

It is madness to consider expansion of Heathrow when a third of all Europeans negatively affected by noise pollution live under the Heathrow flight path.

Please don't worsen the misery for millions of Londoners

I oppose the expansion of Heathrow. I support the alternative options of a new airport in the Thames Estuary. I have already to live with the extremely loud noise of aircraft take offs from Heathrow over my house. I don't believe that all flights to the capital should be concentrated in one airport.

Heathrow is the wrong site for an airport;let alone the expansion.It is an airport suffer fog badly whereas Gatewick and Standard do not have this problem. as often as HeathrowJust two days ago on 10th December 2014 ,flights were cancelled at Heathrow because of fog that day but Gatewick and Standard airports function as normal.It is always a bad reputation of Heathrow flight disruption because of fog -Heathrow has the tendancy of flights cancellation than any other two airports Gatewick and Standard .The residents live under the fly path has suffered enough over the yearsof,noise and dangerous level of air pollution .A third runway at Heather is just to say to residents in the area we don't care about your heath and air popullation -money is more important to us.What it would be of the human cost if a plane accident over this densely populated area -like ihe present helicopter crash in Glasgow ...Gatewick and Standard would be an idea choice for short term fixed ( instaed of a third runway at Heathrow) - a good transport link to Heathrow.Heathrow is in a basin affected by fog badly.. A long term airport strategy for this country would be at the Thames Estuary -an airport built for the 21st century .

Enough is enough. Please stop this now.

Heathrow is already too busy - it has poor links in to London (not everyone wants to go to Paddington) and there are too many planes flying over the city.

Disturbed sleep again as a result of planes landing in the early hours of this morning. Expansion would only worsen current levels of noise pollution.

London needs more capacity, but Heathrow is a short term solution

I was recently on a BA flight from Singapore which landed into Heathrow at about 5.10 am. This would have meant is passing over my flat at somewhere around 4.45am. Is it really acceptable to subject residents of West London to such noise at this time in the morning? I thought there was a morning curfew but I regularly hear planes before 5am. In my view it is unacceptable.
