I cannot believe the government would agree to any expansion on any airport in this country, pollution, global warming, have they heard of these ?

I live under the flight path in Twickenham and it is bad enough at night when flights take off over my house and in the summer I can't have my windows open or sit in the garden because of the noise, let alone the problems of yet more pollution. I have been a conservative voter all my life and appreciate what Tania Matthias has done for twickenham so far but if the anti third runway lobby in the party cannot stop this hideous expansion then sadly, I will have to reconsider who I vote for in the next election.

Local air pollution only gets worse if you start building big runways around villages. It has been given no thought whatsoever, and it would be more effective to have another runway at Gatwick. To those who back a 3rd runway, all I say is this. Climate change, climate change.

I worked for years at Heathrow it's big enough. Please don't ruin the area anymore. Leave our Cemetery alone. They will put a congestion charge on the roads next.

horrific idea. I am effected by the noise. Really terrible. They should build a new hub, out by the thames estuary and then develop heathrow as a place for new homes.

this is not helping climate change and the pollution will harm people and wildlife and our next generation will physically and financially and mentally pay for this.

With more people buying houses outwith London they should be expanding in the Midlands.
to demolish villages for this purpose is a crime.
No more noise and enviromental polution.
