I don't agree with the possible locations the Park District has designated for permanent toilets. And it seems like a large expense vs. providing better portable toilets and better upkeep and maintenance of them.

Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. I would hope that as stewards of the public trust and elected officials, you will listen to those of us who live near the park and take into account all of the negative, unintended consequences installing a permanent bathroom would have, just to alleviate the occasional little leaguer in need. We've simply asked you try to put the park back together as we currently love it. It needs no adjustments. Don't overthink it.

There is no one asking for permanent bathrooms, they will just add unneeded costs, and maintenance, and history shows that were problematic. NO permanent restrooms please!

Restore park to original condition. We are concerned about attracting non-park users. We are concerned about safety and security.

NO PERMANENT BATHROOMS AT THORNWOOD PARK. It can invite homeless people along with other. unwanted people. Also, the Park District should stop looking for ways to spend our money. Maintain what you already have.

I think a permanent restroom in Thornwood Park would present safety issues. I suspect that the majority of kids who play at Thornwood live close by. This idea seems to be a solution in search of a problem. I also object from an aesthetic standpoint. I am very concerned about how the park will look after the main stormwater project is completed.let’s not wreck the park’s attractiveness and utility for our residents by adding a permanent building.

We vote NO to a permanent restroom structure in Thornwood Park. Especially with the future pumping station, we are not in favor of adding yet another structure in Thornwood Park. Please protect our loved and heavily used open space by minimizing permanent structures and additional impermeable surfaces in our precious neighborhood parks. The porta potty is more than adequate.

These bathrooms would devastate the local ecosystem. I am sick and tired of government trying to develop open spaces. The portable bathrooms currently at Thornwood park provide more than enough facilities wise.

There are risks to children attending the grade school at the sw corner of the park. It can attract pedophiles, homeless, vandals and other unwanted people making the facility unusable for its intended purpose. This is a small park that is already being compromised by the sewer project.
