The potential site should be relocated to less dense uninhabitated area as there could be a security risk to the population. The site should be selected keeping in view the least risk to the sorrounding population and also least drop in the adjacent real estate value as these type of security sensitive centres can potentially devalue the real estate there by draining the hard earned money of general public.

Mayor Sutcliffe, reasses existing government owned buildings that can repurposed for asylum seekers. Barrhaven has little if any support for these vulnerable people, the location and duration of a sprung shelter is not suitable to this area.

this is a total waste of of tax payers money you have empty city owned properties and you need home the homeless and stop wasting money this is a very bad decision without community input regarding decisions on such a impact on existing homes and safety of the community

How can you decide to do an operation of that scale that will impact the entire community without consulting us barrhaven tax payers. It is outrageous, insulting. Did we think of safety. Did we think of transportation issue. Did we think of accessibility to government services. This is ridiculous that in our day and age our mayor and counselors cannot find more smart solutions. It is all about doing things quick witout thinking of the long term impact on the community.

This lack of transparency is outrageous and insulting toward us barrhaven tax payers and it is becoming a trend. After secretly canceling the Otrain extension in Barrhaven. Now it is tent for asylum seekers without consulting us. This mayor has no consideration for us. I know where my vote will NOT go for next election.

No enough resources to have refugee tent in Barrhaven. The city and the government should look into a better solution for the situation.

I cannot believe the city is considering the Barrhaven as one of the potential locations. This is a vast residential area, there is no place for this kind of activity in this neighbourhood. It is a very disturbing thought of having asylum seekers here. Did the city learn anything from the USA???? NO TENT IN BARRHAVEN!
