This is NOT the best way to use this land in Barrhaven. It is not appropriate or humane to house refugees in tents in Ottawa’s extreme weather. Also Barrhaven does not have the level of services that would be needed to support such a large group of refugees and afford them the dignity they deserve.

It would be a grave and irreparable mistake if a single tree in the Nepean Woods is cut down to make way for a temporary shelter.

Should control the population of refugees. If the country cannot provide enough jobs and living resources, this kind of ten will only greatly increase the criminal events and endanger the safety of the community.

Refugees should be treated with respect and dignity. Placing them in tents is inhumane. Tents are not housing and Canada could do better, much better.
