I don't believe Barrhaven is the right location to house single adult asylum seekers. Barrhaven is a bedroom community, any young person who ever lived here will tell you - there isn't much to do - with little money and resources they will be trapped here. Because they are only temporary many may not have a vested interest in the community and may treat it as such. I don't trust the government not to let this complex get out of control and overfilled. Its also a giant eyesore. People choose Barrhaven because they didn't want to live in a high density housing area.

No tent absolutely! We have lived her over 40 years. We need security and safety, we built this area with our labour. No people with guaranteed screening and police surveillance !

This seems like a "third-world" approach to a very serious problem. Perhaps the number of immigrants that are allowed to enter our country should be revised, at least until such time as we have the proper resources to deal with the ones already here. I am also concerned about, who is and how are, these people being vetted? What do we know about them? It seems to me that putting 150 unknown adult males in a facility like the one being considered is just asking for trouble!! Particularly when there is no known limit to the duration of their stay!
