Absolute worst spot for this type of thing. Horrible public transit, no access to schools, health care etc. All the support services are already caving in from too many people and not enough infrastructure. This is nothing to do with class, race or religion. This is ARITHMETIC. Enough is enough.

Completely outragous, there is no planning in this city, no consideration on impacts on crime rates, bussiness or property values. Will city reduce our taxes to compensate residents?

This tent will bring down the value of our homes. Will our already sky rocketing property taxes come down too??

Tents are not a solution. Please don't do a band-add solution. Instead, do what is required to fix the problem.

This is disrespectful to both our government and to refugees alike. Treat all people equally and provide dignified housing to them.

Not in Barrhaven

Heating costs will be staggering for a tent. Not adequate transportation to get around the city from here to apply for or work at jobs.

Barrhaven already struggles with a lack of reliable transit to the core. Adding additonal residents that would rely on this public transit system is a terrible idea. There are no social services available here and trying to access the existing ones in the city from the proposed sites would be an unnecessary stress on people already in a stressful situation. Has the city looked at vacant space already in the core that could be made into more suitable housing especially given the move to release federal government office space? What other options were considered before expending money on new structures? Why is it I'm consulted on potential dog parks etc in my neighborhood but not on something as considerable a change as this?

Opposed to this structure in Barrhaven as it will bring down our property values.

No tent. We have many homeless people here already who need these resources instead of a tent for new comers who don't value our way of life.

Send it to Trudeau's estate. He can take care of them.

This is one step on a slipery slope that sidesteps any long term master plan. I'm sure there are unused facilities that would be better suited to the purpose than a tent. The energy cost alone will be staggering.

The location is not acceptable. It is too close to schools and I have concerns for my grandchildren.

This move will result in neighborhood not being suitable for kids to grow up with.
