This is not a short-term nor a long-term solution to what is tantamount to a federal-caused catastrophe. Ottawa should not have to bear this financial burden, nor should we allow such an ill-conceived hackneyed response. Do not do this and anyone in the City's administration that is advocating this should be fired.

I don’t feel that the community has the resources these people need and this isn’t the right area. I don’t feel we should have to pay for our governments bad decisions.

There seems to be confusion as to what those at risk for homelessness and exposure to elements in North America as well as survival and chance of success mean. A tent is definitely not the answer!!

We should not bring in migrants if the only option for them is publicly funded tent cities ..planned immigration is our best way forward and a program that encourages young couple to marriage and to have chidlren .

25-40 years of immigrants living in a tent beside a railroad track. ENOUGH TRAUMA. Ottawa, this is not even close to our best. DO BETTER

Stop the insanity. Where is the transparency. We didn’t elect this mayor and council to be this unrepresentative of Barrhaven. This is not what our taxes were meant for when our roads are falling apart and medical facilities are desperately needed
Barrhaven is not the location for a migrant tent.
Lets have transparentcy
No tents anywhere
