I absolutely oppose a wet facility. West Bank First Nations - why do you want to bring DRUGS, VIOLENCE, CRIME, and DETERIORATION OF PROPERTY VALUES to areas where there are ELDERLY and HOARDS of YOUNG FAMALIES???? Look what happens to the areas where these facilities go in. Why are we paying money to ENABLE DRUGS? Is this what West Bank First Nations wants to be known for?

Strongly against a building of this type in the neighbourhood, especially so close to children

The supports for these individuals (that they are greatly in need of) are in Kelowna city, NOT West Kelowna

This would be as disastrous as the housing in Rutland. Very scarey.

Our family of 4 live in this busy neighborhood booming witg children. This must be one of the worst location in west kelowna to build a wet facility in. Please stop this plan asap.

This is a poor choice for a neighborhood of many young families. See beyond the dollar signs please and think of the many negative impacts that this will have on the community.

Wet facilities should not exist.... What we need is government funded rehab facilities! More than one, that follow a program of complete abstinence. For all the addicts that ever recovered, do you think they would have if they were offered free clean drugs and parifanala??. I can tell you from experience .. HELL NO.

I wasn’t sure what a wet house was so goggled it. If anything everyone should at least know what they are proposing in in put neighborhoods , Westbank First Nations included. Reports suggest to expect an increase of crime, theft and visual drug and alcohol use not to mention disguarded injection needless. This would have a disasterous effects on our community not to mention our property values. We already have a theft problem so we can expect to increase as tenents at this proposed site have little to no income to support whatever habits they have ,so of course their only means of income would be theft. I urge everyone to take time to google wet house and studies that have been done on the and long term effect of such facilities have. Keep in mind that once it is approved and operational there is little to no chance that it will ever be shut down. Pete Smith

I really don't understand why this location was ever even brought up. This is an area where many seniors and young families live, including my own. My children need to walk past cougar to get to middle school. This is not ok. A facility like this should be placed near resources, transportation, essential services etc. A more appropriate place would be that large empty plot near the McDonalds. I strongly urge this location to be moved.
