The area around the Watsonville corridor is a scenic region with a lot of wildlife. I definitely object to having this quiet area destroyed by an electrical substation. Build the substation near the area where the growth is happening. Do not destroy this beautiful area.

Any of the 5 site proposals for this substation would SCAR the natural beauty of our neighborhoods and community. This area has a very high fire danger -- WHY would PG&E knowingly put people's lives at risk again!

A substation in any of these 5 proposed sites would be detrimental to the rural character, natural habitat/riparian corridor, wine trail, and property values, while increasing fire risks. It's unacceptable for PGE impose such a blight on this beautiful area.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is rated in the worst category for fire danger. Putting a substation here would be incredibly reckless.

This construction would be a catastrophic blot on the Paradise Valley landscape. Locating it in Santa Clara County's "Very High Fire Hazardous Zone" would be disastrous.

This needs to be built where it doesn't impact the beauty of the land and the people who live there. This is a poor choice!

Our neighborhood is not just a restful place of beauty for those who live here, but scores of bike riders or people enjoying the "Wine Trail" also come here for the beauty. You do not belong in this area PG&E.

Sycamore and Armsby: We have too many over head line as it is, we do not any more, Give some to other areas, high fire area. 3 so far in 3 years from transmission lines.

Morgan Hill is getting all the benefits of this project so the substation should be located within the boundaries of the City of Morgan Hill. Maybe they could trade that silly spider sculpture on the parking garage for a nice photo-voltaic system and meet their needs with self generation.

I strongly agree with the items listed in this petition and feel tha PG&E is wrongly overstepping their boundaries in the location of these proposed substations and are not considering the impact on the surrounding property owners or environment on their decisions.

I live in paradise valley in Morgan hill
I am completely opose the development of these substations.
Corperations such as PG&E, don't invest and develop these endeavors without motive and some type of financal gain. I want to know what if any, PG&E seeks to gain from this development. As well as, the benefits to the interests of we the property owners and the public in general, directly impacted.

why are you choosing prime residential land when there are so many empty properties that have no impact......what with your recent image issues do you really want this pr to have to justify......it just doesn't make sense...........

Given the impact on the areas habitat, the visual beauty of this country lane and the effect this would have on property values this would be a travesty.

Terrible idea to put substation on or near Watsonville Road - the wine corridor and the jewel of our county.

This area is at the center of the burgeoning Gilroy/Morgan Hill wine country. So say goodbye to that revenue. Also, have we forgotten how fast the Croy Road fire spread? A tinder box isn't a great place for an electrical complex.

Please do not place sustation on West Edmundson . The proposed site is right in town and the transmission lines will the run over populated neighborhoods. Please choose sites that will not decrease the exiting home values and their enjoyment of their neighborhoods. Please select a location that is not in town, that is not next to peoples homes.
