The proposed so-called "weekend marketplace" on Union Street is, despite denials, cover for a street fair - a commercial operation that will bring noise, garbage, crowds, and traffic congestion to our neighborhood. Please sign your name to let our elected officials and city government know you do NOT want this.
Please don't allow the proposed "wknd marketplace" on Union St. I live on Green Street, and we recently have had trash (mainly food boxes, drink cups and misc paper) thrown on the sidewalk, as well as homeless people sleeping near our entry porch. I wouldn't be opposed to one wknd/month, but please, not every wknd. Thanks.

It will make living in the area a nightmare. More late night noise, litter, shouting, fights etc. The parklets have already increased the noise and litter level. Enough! Ft Mason is a great spot to have this, non residential.

Charlton Court is a fire lane for 50 + households! You MUST NOT cut us off from the Emergency Services. This is against the fire code.
WE LIVE HERE!
We need free and unrestricted VEHICLE access to our homes.
We do not want any more nuisance than we already suffer by the BLUE LIGHT BAR: Disorderly Conduct, Noise, Trash, Urination, Crowds, Drinking, Solicitations, Drug Dealing, Street Fights.
THIS IS IRRESPONSIBLE AND OVERREACHING!!
USE ALTERNATIVE SPACES: Fort Mason, Marina Green.

Let's "clean up" the area, not make it more dirty/messy. While I love the idea of events that bring community together, unfortunately, these days, there is too much mess, noise, bad behavior, etc. Why not hold it in the Fort Mason area which is easily accessible, but not right in the center of a residential area?
