Perhaps library workers need an association. OLA appears to represent library boards and management, and not library workers at all.

I wondered where you were back in Mayor Fords day when he and his brother were attacking our libraries. We went on strike that year and not a peep of support for us then either. What is your function if not to uphold the profession and offer support? I wonder

At a time when our libraries are overwhelmed with volitile and unpredictable violence & threats to public safety, Staffless libraries cannot possibly offer safe, clean reliable library service for the taxpayers of our communities. Taxpayers deserve MORE, not less.
