I live in a senior citizen community on Gold Hill Rd., which appears to be within 1 mile of the proposed plant.

Please do not let manufacturing so close to our children who are our future, and the residents of the town. Manufacturing should be performed way out away from the public.

Do NOT support toxic chemicals that could kill children and residents!! How did SC allow this???

The citizens of Fort Mill are overwhelmingly against this manufacturing plant. The environmental concerns along with traffic and general congestion are extremely problematic.

I live in Fort Mill, but am traveling outside the US now. I wanted to make you aware I am STRONGLY opposed to building a plant that will use and discharge highly toxic chemicals so close to our children, school and recreational areas along with exposing our residents, many of whom are elderly. Please STOP this project from moving forward.

Please stop this manufacturing plant. It is a danger/hazzard to our community and children. This company lied about the type of manufacturing they were going to do when the process began. Please stop it NOW!

I am STONGLY opposed to this zoning change. Dangerous chemicals and toxins are being used in proximity of 2 brand new schools with only a tree line separating the properties, needlessly risking the health of children and staff. In addition, Anne Close Springs Greenway, a facility dedicated to conserving our environment, and the animals that live within, will be at risk also due to the proximity of this facility. This area is also frequented by many people who value Ms. Close’s Mission Statement of preserving 1200 acres dedicated to the environment. This will also affect health of people! These are just 2 ways this change will be detrimental to the community. Should this proceed, there is no infrastructure in place to handle the waste produced including the toxic water that goes to a waste treatment plant. It has been stated that the plant in Rock Hill CANNOT handle the toxic water. I must also question how this will affect our already challenging traffic situation. I am on a fixed budget and taxes for new schools is all I can handle. I cannot incur additional costs of infrastructure such as water treatment facilities and roads for to help this plant meet their goals. Again, I STRONGLY OPPOSE this change of zoning. I'm very concerned that a plant of this nature using and storing such extreme toxic chemicals in such close proximity to the new schools, as well as all the neighborhoods that surround the proposed area.

I do not support the Silfab plant being built in Fort Mill, especially so close to two new schools and apartments.
