This would be a detriment to our community and safety.

Enough with the tax breaks and promise of “good paying jobs.” Look at the calculations showing salaries of millions annually paid to a few top managers averaged in with minimum hourly wages paid to 80% of employees who are also exposed to toxic chemicals without healthcare benefits.

I petition against the construction of the Silfab Solar Panel Manufacturing Plant. The proposed location is too close in proximity to residential and student spaces. Please vote against this location.

Please do not allow this plant to manufacture hazardous chemicals near our schools and residential communities. If there is a spill the outcome would be disastrous!

Must be stopped. Health and safety are more important than possible job creation.

The upstate of SC and even York Co has plenty of other viable industrial zones to house such a manufacturing facility. Allowing them to rezone this facility is simply a cost saving measure when this facility can be built elsewhere away from residential districts, businesses and schools. The liability for the town of Fort Mill is exponential if a leak/spill were to occur and further exacerbated if a student or community was affected. Attorneys will sue for anything these days. It’s not worth it for the town and the safety of its citizens should be of more concern.

This is dangerous and reckless. This type of plant doesn't belong this close to residents!
