It is absolutely ridiculous that the county is actually contemplating putting something with such hazardous materials in our community. Especially not next to our children.

I don’t understand why this is even being considered in a residential area with two schools. The amount of toxic fumes and water pollution that will come with this plant will injure and even kill fort mill residents. Again why would this even be considered? If you are trying to reap the financial benefits (tax income) from this plant think of all the lawsuits you will be paying out once people start sueing for knowingly allowing a toxic plant next to a school. Will be a financial nightmare for sure.

A chemical production process that involves manufacturing, not just assembly, needs to be located in a heavier industrial zone away from schools and homes. I’m terrified for the value of my residence in Regent Park.

Ok, whose palm is getting greased to allow this to happen next to two schools, highly residential areas, numerous daycare facilities, and directly across from assisted living facility with memory care patients!?!?! Ever tried to evacuate THOSE residents quickly ?! Unbelievable.
