As a former haz-mat incident trained fireman, I can say that this this facility will store enough toxic chemicals to seriously affect, injure, or possibly even kill many innocent men, women, and children in the Fort Mill region, as Pineville and lower Mecklenburg County.
The effects of their smokestack system will undoubtedly impact the health and safety of the air, water, and soil of the region.
It will NOT be a beneficial addition to the community.

It is unreasonable for this plant to be built so close to schools and neighborhoods and the people of Fort Mill do not want a plant with dangerous emissions nearby. The children at the new school deserve to have a safe and clean education environment. This project is just too risky and may affect the value of nearby homes.

This plant will only bring harm to the area. I do not support this being around my children, lowering my property value, or putting the safety personnel in the area at risk. This has no benefit to the area.

Please don't allow these hazardous and life threatening chemicals near our children. When I was a child, Fort Mill was a small town with wonderful schools and children. It has grown so much since then and most of our growth is something to be proud of. Our people, our children, deserve a community that is safe and healthy.
