I understand that there are many pros to this patch, but do they really outweigh the cons? The idea seems good on paper, but doesn't really work out too well. There are many problems with renting servers. Most of them are because the people who rent the servers completely ruin it for some players. I don't like playing to a ridiculously high score limit, having the teams be unbalanced because the administrator put the best players in the lobby on his team, or being kicked from a game simply because I killed the owner of the server once (Seriously, WTF?!).  The main problem is that those of us who want to play on a normal server can't because about 90 percent of the servers have been rented out. The people who rent servers come back with "You can just search for a normal server, instead of browsing though all of the servers, you idiot", but really that doesn't work. It doesn't work because when you search for a normal server the only game types that come up are mainly Rush and Conquest. What about the people who like Squad Death Match, Team Death Match, Squad Rush, and Conquest Assault? Also, almost all of the DICE normal servers are completely filled up and many have players waiting in the queue for someone to leave. Because of server renting, me and my friends have completely stopped playing Battlefield 3.  It just isn't fun since this patch came out. Think about it this way, before the patch everybody played the game happily. However, now some people like the game a little bit more while others hate it and have lost their will to play at all. In my opinion, this patch has caused more grief than joy. If you kept server renting in the game, I would just assume that you don't care about your fans...
