No semi’s on lower Old State

There are so many other safer routes for large trucks to take.

Semi’s on Old State have been a major issue for many, many years. They are not able to stay in the lane at all, and this poses major risk to all motorists out there.

Large trucks are often too big to take the turns on the road, resulting in them crossing the midline into the oncoming lane. I’ve nearly been run off the road several times.

Large commercial vehicles should not be allowed in Old State for safety reasons!

I fully support limiting the size of commercial vehicles on Old State Road south of Ridge Road. This road is completely inadequate to safely handle large commercial vehicles.

I have seen semi trailers actually run over the top of a small car, going around a tight turn on Old State Rd. Please use 100 to 109 and stay off Old State with the "big rigs". Thank you

Safe travels

Semi-trucks should absolutely be required to use alternate routes that are very easily accessible! Old State is not safe for semi-trucks and they cause a big hazard for other drivers and residents.

Definitely should ban semis from Old State.

Old State road is way to cliffs, winding , and narrow to have big simis on this road.. there are multiple car accidents on this road.

I drive Old State every day. It’s so busy at school time. I’m so concerned about our high school students and their safety, especially. Every time I follow or meet a semi-truck on Old State, they are always over the yellow line…always!
