The streets are still very dangers with all the snow. It is not safe.

The roads and sidewalks are icy and are not suited for people to be walking/driving on. It's putting people at danger, and I think missing one day of school would be better than putting students at risk.

I ate snow for lunch today because my mom would not feed me and I was lazy. In fifteen minutes of our lunch I would not have time to eat snow and I would starve.

There is no reason to make it a delayed opening... that will not help with the dangerous conditions that are being placed on these children... This supposed to be a community were students come first... not grades. And besides I don't want Mr. Brusselsprout getting hurt in the icy weather. He lives far up north and if the Beard gets hurt I don't know what I will do with my life.

If there was to be school tomorrow I believe that there would be a great increase in risk in transportation via vehicles. This is due to the unsafe roadways that are not entirely cleared throughout the town. Lets also not forget that many roads off of the main streets coursing through town are not entirely cleared as well. This provides unsafe conditions for not only drivers, but also for anyone walking as the likelihood of tripping and falling greatly increases. Also, Millburn/Short Hills is a very diverse area in its elevation, for example people around my area will deal with a lot of ice and snow on steep declines that could result in accidents. Let us not forget that bus transportation is a necessity to some students, and with the current conditions of the roads, it may be impossible for the buses to properly do their job, because there are many risks to going down or up hills, its simple physics. Please take this into mind when deciding whether or not you will be forcing us to go to school in these hazards conditions.
