BIM proposed super salmon farm for Galway will be a natural disaster waiting to happen. The project is laced with lies and false promises to gather public support. BIM know that the sea lice problem this super farm will create could quite possibly wipe out wild salmon and sea trout stocks for ever without bearing in mind wild salmon stocks are currently in danger. They have used the lie this super toxic farm will create over 300 jobs directly or indirectly.How many jobs will be lost if this farm goes ahead is what BIM will not answer or take on board. 1,000S of jobs directly or indirectly could be lost from angling tourism and in the fishing sector in the Galway and Clare areas. This natural diaster could end the famous Galway bay oysters,with mussels and lobsters under serious threat. Make a stand against this toxic salmon farm.
