as a biker and car driver, such rumble strips are over-accesories which actually add unnecessary danger to all road users.
not to mention waste of money.

I as a motorcycle ride had encounter a few dangerous moment with the rough red stripes in the corners. I believe that it should in placed before the turns to signal danger ahead but not in the turns where it will reduce the grip level on the surface of the tires for any motor transport which is more dangerous then to prevent them!

I drive and ride as well. These strips are really dodgy in the rain. I've had a few close calls.

rumble strips are used wrongly all over Malaysia. this is totally wrong and dangerous for all road users! The govt. must take notice if they are indeed serious about road safety and reducing our high accident rates.

Please remove these dangerous strips. They’re meant to slow down cars before the corners or bends but not to be placed at the bends itself.

Please find the dash cam video recorded a car just skidded and went off road coming down from cameron highlands through the simpang pulai road. I saw that video.. Very clear that the yellow and now the red strips across the road to slow down vehicles are wrong. The authorities should have made sufficient research on this before implementing it. Thx
