God gave us brains to think. A rape is an assault and an unlawful act regardless of age. For this tio happen to an innocent child is heinous, unforgivable. 2 wrongs don't make a right. A lie is a lie regardless of whether it's black or white. Disgusting!

This statement by a MP is absolute madness allowing ABUSE to an underaged child at even 9years of age just because she has attained puberty. Let such abuse happen to any member of his family and the rapist can marry the child much to this MP's satisfaction

This type of thinking is why Malaysia is seen as backwards. How can leaders be so ignorant, saying things without thinking of the consequences? Just think if this happened to your own family member, will you want her to marry her rapist and endure a lifelong trauma? Think harder before speaking MP.
