Dear Mr. Goodell,

As the commissioner of the National Football League you have shown reckless disregard for the men and women of our Country that have fought under the same US flag that you allow to be disrespected by your employees and the same National Anthem that represents us all!

This petition is not meant to show support or opposition to any cause that your league may or may not support via your actions but rather it is a demonstration against using your sport as a platform to add further division to this great country. American Heroes United, Inc, a group of US American Veterans, many that have seen brothers and sisters transported home draped in that flag, as well as their supporters, have taken the position that unless you can support your causes in a manner that does not subject us to political strife and disrespect to our brothers and sisters we intend to boycott your league, your events and your sponsors along with holding peaceful protests at your venues.

Many of us partake in sporting events to remove ourselves from the turmoils of everyday life and the political chaos that has become our country. You, Mr. Commissioner, only serve to exacerbate that chaos and we will no longer stand for it...
