Though I don't live near this location I do live in Coventry. I wouldn't want the noise or the worry.

This is just dumb and shouldn't be happening. Build a rifle range in a non-residential area that isn't close to a school instead of here.

I live on Audubon Lane. I moved here 15 years ago specifically for the quiet and safety. If this range is allowed to be built, I will no longer have either of those things.
I am a gun owner and a hunter and I am pro-gun but logic dictates that this proposal is too disruptive to the residents in the area.

A licence to carry these guns will mean nothing, it's like saying anyone that is legally in this country, will never be a part of terrorism acts. The dangers to such a residential area are unrealistic to deal with. People are at risk, houses are going to decrease in value, all for the better good one a single person, that probably doesn't even live around here, so won't have to deal with the noise.

How could you allow something like this to go into a residential area. Property value will crater- children's safety is at a higher risk, the constant noise would be unbearable.

I wont be able to make an appearence at the town meeting, but make my voice heard! Big NO from me, I am a mother of a 2nd grader attending Washington Oak, although the noise wont bother me, I would feel insecure about my child attending school so close to such a high scale weapon range.

The only positive I see here is the landowner makes money. Everything else hurts the residents here.

What about the veterans that move out into the country side to avoid suffering from PTSD? Did we totally forget about the impact it will have on minority's such as former army soldiers daily lives? Forcing a former Army seal to move just due to the profits of another, seems ridiculous.

Not online will this impact the community and the childrens childhood, this will impact home values. Value will plummet due to the limited amount of people that could potentially move here. Anyone with a young family and pets wouldn't even consider moving nextdoor to an outdoor rifle range. It is understandable that the land owner wants this here, because he bought it to make it into something, but in todays current day and age, it isn't realistic; especially considering the fact that instead of being a mile away from a school, he could go farther into the woods of Western Coventry, or even farther out west in a remote location.

We are supporters of 2nd amendment rights. My son and I enjoy target and sporting clay shooting.
All of the long distance ranges we have been to are far from human habitation and back onto miles of open land.
Responsible gun owners care about the community and safety of all.
This proposed rifle outdoor range is too close to residential family neighborhoods and an elementary school.
We moved to this beautiful neighborhood for peace and quiet. The proposed rifle range will completely destroy the peaceful enjoyment of our neighborhood, increase the transport of weapons through our streets and reduce the safety of a family neighborhood.
