The government should be ashamed by letting any person sleeping rough on the streets of Britain in this day & age.

I feel so very strongly about this. Any building that has been empty for a period of time, say one year, must be used to house the homeless if a use hasn't been found. Please open up some of these buildings to help the homeless.

I am saddened to hear what has happened and even sadder that it could so easily have been provented as there are numerous empty buildings in folkestone. No one should be on the streets in the day and age, come on folkestone council lead and set a standard for all other council's to follow.

It starts here and will grow every town city and village should sign one then the government will have to listen and act. There are enough empty places in the uk to house the homeless three times over.

No property should stand empty whilst people are homeless. Further second home owners should be forced to rent their second homes until such time as everyone in the country has a roof over their heads.

It's a shame people have to die first to get noticed. Don't let them die for no purpose. Act now.
