RIP gents - this is terrible way to treat humans - change need to happen in the shelters to allow pets, as these pets are a homless persons family, would you leave your family out in the cold while you have a warm meal and a warm bed. Surley there is a room in a shelter where the dogs can be placed for the night. Come on starting thinking please!!

We cannot ignore this. Two pleasant and friendly homeless guys, not being supported by the system, which should be designed to protect them from being murdered by freezing temperatures! Shelter from the cold should be a human right. The system, where I mean the council and government, cannot keep enforcing rules knowingly, that human life is at risk because the system respects its rules more than human preservation. We can do better and this ne‎ver be repeated.

Folkestone town council need to act fast! We do not know the full reason to why anybody is homeless and we should never judge! Everyone is fighting a battle and until you have walked a mile in the shoes of someone else you have no place to pass judgement on anyone

I just can not believe that this could happen in a so called civilised society...I know four walls are not for all the homeless ,but surely we will not we councils should do more when the weather is bad ..At least now these guys are warm and safe ..god bless them ...Sheila x
