This plan goes against Best Management Practices. This plan solves nothing. Look into long range centered planning. Planning that reflects our wish for the future. Our village, our family and friends safe, secure and knowing that we cared enough to do our very best.

It’s not right to take park space and give it for parking spaces that are unnecessary and likely to cause safety hazards pedestrians walking to/from Breezewald.

Very dangerous for pedestrians and oncoming traffic! There are PLENTY of alternatives for parking (already covered with concrete) in the downtown area.

Please stop paving paradise - so sad that my spot on the parkway watching the alpine parade will be lost.

This proposed parking lot will not enhance the park, but will take green space away from Lake Zurich residents. Once we relinquish our green spaces to commercial ventures, WE NEVER GET THEM BACK! The removal of the mature trees is a shortsighted move. The Sunset Pavilion would also benefit from a more pedestrian and bike friendly downtown area. Are there any solutions that incorporate people powered transportation? The private development around the lake already diminishes the surrounding the natural landscape of the lake. Please don’t divvy up our parkland in the same way. Our green spaces are irreplaceable!

Please consider using other spaces on Main Street to increase parking for Sunset and other shops. In general we don’t need to compromise safety, esthetic’s and land I order to make parking more convenient. People will still come if they have to park down the street or around the corner at a public lot.

It is not okay to take every last green space in this town for bars and parking lots.

Breezewald Park is one of the loveliest assets the Village of LZ has. Adding parking to that area does nothing to improve the park, and will add congestion to a quiet corner of the Village. Please explore parking options in another area, and/or encourage the use of bikes and walking. The last thing we need is to encourage more cars and congestion in this area.

Our daughter has enjoyed Breezewald park as a bicyclist for years and has been a regular safe place for to meet friends. We would hate to lose that just to have more parking.

Please put public safety and community benefit over private profit and say no to on-street parking at Breezewald Park.
