The Memphis Sands Aquifer is the mid-south's greatest natural resource and is essential for drinking water and local agriculture. Regardless of the regulations used to ensure that the Byhalia pipeline is safe, there will still be serious risks of catastrophe. Here, the risks outweigh the rewards. We can not sacrifice clean drinking water that the entire region relies upon purely for corporate profits.
