Oil pipelines consistently leak and spill. The Memphis Sand Aquifer is one of the cleanest water reservoirs in the world, and it is completely pointless to out the health and safety of the people of the Memphis area in jeopardy for the sake of a dying industry that primarily benefits out of town businesses. It is only fitting to immediately dismiss this attempt to profit off of the people of Memphis and terminate this proposal once and for all.

As one who was born and grew up in Memphis and who still has family in the area, I urge those in power to block this pipeline. The Memphis Sand Aquifer is a valuable resource and must be protected!

The pipeline also eliminates more jobs in the long-term than it creates in the short-term.

Take your pipeline elsewhere. Our water is our most valuable resource and I for one won’t tolerate this egregious attempt to put it in jeopardy

Our water is the best straight out of the ground. It needs protection and no pipeline can guarantee complete safety.

Memphis water is the best in the country, it being tainted by a pipeline would be an absolute travesty.

As a Univ. of Memphis alum I agree the aquifer is one of this city's greatest resources. Save the Memphis water! Nashville water is like drinking a swimming pool. You don't want that.
