We only get one earth!
And I only get one mother!
This pipeline should not be allowed to threaten these neighborhoods because the ones in power and the privileged have deemed The lives there are expendable. Black Memphis matters! Black lives matter! Our neighbors lives matter! My family matters! And Memphis, our black folk, our neighbors and my family would be devastatingly affected by this for generations.

Secondly, why did you think it was a good idea to put it in the area it is in? How about putting the oil line in collier ville

We need your help in Memphis! Environmental justice is a critical issue and it is unfair for a community of color to be subjected to what is happening regarding this pipeline. Please help stop this now! Sincerely,
Kimberly Baker

I grew up in Memphis and still own our family home in walker homes. I do not want my renter or my neighbors or my family’s health in danger because of this oil line. There are miles and miles of open land areas that can be used for just such purposes and not effect the health of our families!

The path of least resistance has risen up and become a force against this so called progress. Progress this not always forward motion. Low income minorities have been the target for too long.

Would you place this pipeline in Arlington or Lakeland or even Collierville? No you wouldn't so why place it in an African-American Community? Remember BLACK LIVES MATTER
We don't need this type construction to our land.
