The Memphis Sand Aquifer has a wellhead protection zone ordinance.
The protection ordinance must not be in validated and eliminated via waiver for a private profit pipeline project. The ordinance was passed for the protection exactly this sort of proposal.
As the sole water source the protection ordinance is essential, not waived for private interests and profits. Public health and safety is paramount.
