There’s no need for an oil pipeline here. Especially not when it is going to poison the water supply of the people’s who’s lives depend upon clean water. Additionally, the environment is already in desperate need of help, not further destruction and disruption of wildlife populations and their habitats.

In has come to my attention that the Byhalia Connection 49-mile Pipeline now has all permits needed to begin construction. The pipeline will cut through South Memphis, Boxtown, Westwood and Whitehaven, and onto Mississippi. This will have a huge impact on the communities health, water, air, food and soil. I am asking that you summit a formal complaint with the City of Memphis, District Congressman, Valero and Plains All American Pipeline that the project is not needed or wanted in our community.

The community does not want this, the country does not need this. We don't need more opportunities for polluting land, water, and air anywhere in the US by fossil fuels. We're moving past this. No new infrastructure please! Listen to those who live there, and the outcry on the necessity to act on climate change and envrionmental justice. This is out of step with who we are becoming. Thank you.
