I grew up in Memphis and unbeknownst to me, drinking tap water straight out the faucet was a privilege I had taken for granted. The cleanliness of water supply has been something I’ve always been proud to know and have the opportunity to witness about. Please keep in mind the generations to come that will need access to clean water in a city where other needs are often time hard to come by at times.

Please dont take advantage of these poorer communities just because you can.
The aquifer is one of our only precious resources here, preserve it..one day it may be the one thing that attracts people back to.this corner of the world.

We have one of the best aquifers in the world and we do not want to risk that by allowing a pipeline to run right through part of the city. Memphis has some great things going for her but this plan is not one of them.
