As an envirothon student, I understand the immense damage adding a pipeline would cause to this aquifer. It’s extremely irresponsible, and a waste of our already extremely limited drinking water. If you care about people, you will not put in this pipeline. If you care about your children’s future, you will not put in this pipeline. Life is more important than money. Life is more important than this pipeline.

Remember what happened in Flint, Michigan where residents went a whole year without having sustainable drinking, cooking, washing, bathing water? Do you really want the same thing to happen to Memphis only for a longer period of time? If any officials see this, this decision wont only impact low income people, but it will impact the people around, your family and yourself; Furthermore, people will leave, by this decision, Memphis' reputation and population could easily decrease. Think critically, and dont support this pipeline.

We are not in need of another pipeline. Especially when it puts clean drinking water at risk. Shocking that you want to run it through poor black neighborhoods, but we know it’s really not shocking. This is coming to an end for you corporate monsters who has long since taking advantage of poor and marginalized black and brown people. We are done with your corruption
