I am a Memphis native and we have always had the best drinking water. I would like for it to stay this way!

Let's not have another Flint, Michigan! Oppose the Byhalia Connection and preserve these communities' rights to clean drinking water.

Clean water can be called the gold of the times we're living in now. I urge you, Memphis City Council members, to pass this enormously important, crucial Resolution to oppose the construction of the Byhalia Connection Pipeline. The environmental racism connected to the planning for this disastrous project needs to be converted to environmental protection of Memphis' only source of drinking water. So I also urge Memphis Light in the strongest terms possible to establish a wellhead protection zone ordinance.

We need to deny permission for installation and extension of this and ANY pipelines for fossil fuel transmission.

I encourage the Memphis City Council to Pass the resolution opposing the Byhalia Connection Pipeline. This pipeline would disrupt communities in the area and threaten a critical aquifer.
