Memphis is a beautiful city full of beautiful people. No matter where the world takes me I still call Memphis home. There is a grind, a grit, a pride to the city. Much of that grit and grind comes from the pride of knowing we have something special. On the one hand what makes Memphis special is the people. On the other hand it is the water. This pipeline would tear right through the heart of both and put two invaluable treasures at risk - the most vulnerable people and our most vulnerable natural resource. Do NOT let this pipeline pass.

My family has stayed in South Memphis for over 50 years and we're still there. I attended Orleans Elementary when I was a little girl. I had the best teachers who gave great memories and a beautiful foundation for my life. I'm signing to protect my family's neighborhood.
