As seen below, MOJANG's 1.7.8/1.7.9 update is working on API for name changes in Minecraft. This is one of the only games that doesn't support name changes, and that's what makes it unique. Traits such as misspellings, unwanted usernames and more are all special to the account holder. Well, me and many others strongly disagree with this decision. Raise awareness!
