Stop the Proposed Motel 6 on S. Yosemite St. in Centennial

I join my fellow Willow Creek neighbors in strongly opposing the construction of a Motel 6 on S. Yosemite near Dry Creek Rd.

I'm 100% opposed to the construction of a Motel 6 in our neighborhood. We need to listen to the statistics and neighboring cities that suggest this a mistake and at odds with the mission statement of centennial and it's neighborhoods.

My family lives in Willow Creek 1, and I appreciate the opportunity to support this important effort.

Due to crime and safety of our family’s and law enforcement, please stop the development of budget motels at this location and in the vicinity.

Motel 6 has the potential to devalue the willow creek neighborhood. Let’s nix Motel 6.

I specifically bought my house in Willow Creek for a safe neighborhood. My family opposes Motel 6 being built so close to residential community and its proximity to several elementary schools.

I am strongly against a Motel 6 in the proposed location.

Particularly concerned about sex trafficking and additional dangers to our children.

This will bring our property values down but more and MOST importantly will be a danger to our children. There is too much trafficking in nearby areas already. It’s unacceptable to bring it any closer.

This would be more of a short to long term residential building which is not allowed by this zoning. The City needs to consider the “extended stay” part of this proposed use when considering the zoning laws. This proposed Motel 6 is not wanted by this community which will not support it in any way.

Not the correct development adjacent to Willow Creek.

A Motel 6 or any low-budget motel is not welcome near this residential area. It is not safe for our children.

I would like to know from Greenwood Village police how many calls they have received from the Motel 6 on Arapahoe Road.

I am very much opposed to having Motel 6 built in Centennial at this location

I feel the proposed Motel 6 was not properly vetted with nearby homes and businesses, and should require input from all affected parties before being allowed to proceed.

This has no place near a residential area. Please put a moratorium on any new hotel construction in Centennial and do more research. I know you will find crime and unintended consequences will go up significantly straining all city resources!
