Remarkable, how the applicant's studies always support doing whatever greedy thing they want to do, at the expense of the residents. I've never seen an applicant expert say: We did our due diligence and actually, this is a horrible idea, so we're going to rescind our application, peace out. No, that never ever happens because they create studies that support whatever they want. Why does Norwalk even waste their time listening to those bogus experts?

This place is too small, too sweet to be taken over by huge apt. buildings - where do they park...right under the building, backing out onto a very small one lane each way road...trees on one side. already houses on the other...I don't know how they feel about the train tracks above them, trains stopping and going on - miserable for them. Why continue to build...Smog/smell/way too many people to sustain a life thtat's been quiet and friendly.

Please don't ruin our beautiful East Norwalk neighborhood with pollution, noise, traffic congestion and safety issues with 200 additional trucks going thru our neighborhood!

No to the Norden Warehouse

The traffic on Strawberry Hill Avenue is busy enough. I live on the Westport town line and the amount of vehicles jumping off exit 17 and taking the back roads by house to get to the exit 16 of ramp area is tremendous. I lived here 23 years and it is getting worse every year. If this Norden project gets passed it will completely create traffic flow grid-lock encapsulating all the surrounding streets. Not to mention there is 3 public schools within a 1 mile stretch on Strawberry Hill Ave.

No more truck

As someone who lives and works in East Norwalk, this would be absolutely terrible for residents and commuters. I don't know how anyone could have thought this was a good idea to begin with. Once again, people in power are thinking with their bank accounts rather than with consideration for the community they serve.

Distribution centers as a rule, are not horrible things. But placing one in the middle of residential neighborhoods, with no alternate routes, is a really bad idea. This needs to die.
