Why are we paying for parking? Tuition can 100% cover parking permits.

There is no point of paying. If we run out of spots just make more available. There is enough to not worry about running out of spots and sometimes spots be filled up with pay. It’s just a waste of our money.

I believe in a decrease in prices, I don't think it should be free because I know the money goes towards upkeep and what not but for how many students commute I and have their car on campus I don't think it should be at the crazy high price that it is at right now

I had 1 in person class that met every other week during COVID-19 in the Spring 2020, and I still needed a parking pass, it’s ridiculous. I live 15 minutes from campus and had someone drop me off any time I needed to go on campus so I could save my parking pass money for groceries and books.

I agree parking permit prices are way too high. Although I wouldn’t completely remove parking permits this way only students and staff are allowed to park on campus.

There are so many other expenses we have to take care of for school. Either lower the price or have way more parking spots open for students. Spending hours looking for a parking spot intervenes my education because there has been times I miss class because of the lack of parking. I'm paying all this so it's not fair. Please do something about this!

Parking permit prices should be lowered or more parking lots should be opened around campus to accommodate for students who need to go to any building.

Students who already pay tuition should not have to pay for parking, this is ridiculous. Many universities with similar tuition have free parking and as many students as attend MSU, there is no reason to be extra.
