Overton High School is one of the finest schools. Yet, the students don't get treated like it. We spend more time in the office & ISS for dress code. That we have no time to study for exams and test. We don't want to look like every other individual in the school building. Everyone is THEIR own person; why not wear OUR own clothes. HELP US GAIN SIGNATURES TO GAIN THE TREATMENT WE DESERVE!

What's The Point Of Wearing Uniform When Some People Don't Have The Money To Buy Uniforms And Supplies Together We Are In The Office More For Uniform Violation Then Anything Else
white shirts, black pants , and only white, grey or black jackets..... But we a performing arts school .... Oh
Kids should have the opportunity to show their individuality within context and with respect. my son was suspended for being out of uniform the last week of school and wasn't able to take end of the year exams. He is not a bad child never been in trouble at the school never been in a fight but punished for uniform rules
why wear uniforms we spend more on the same bland shirts if highschool is a prep for college give us the full experience by letting us wear no uniform
I don't want to have to buy two sets of clothes every year because I have to buy school uniform clothes and clothes to wear

The uniforms are really unneccessary. I transfered to Germantown from Overton and the dress code at Germantown makes me feel like I am attending a high school not a prison. It really helps with my learning to have something comfortable on while I work. I no longer have to worry if my shirt is tucked in or not or how dorky I look in this white polo and khakis.
