16 years ago, a young, beautiful, smart, vibrant woman lost her life after tripping and falling to her death while hiking at Zoar Valley. Her name was Lindsey Pedacchio, and her tragedy changed our small town of Randolph, NY and everyone who knew her, forever. Since her death, there have been numerous other tragic deaths, including the death of a 16 year old girl last night on the 16 year anniversary of Lindsey’s death. Zoar Valley is a beautiful, but dangerous place, with decaying trails, a lack of maps available for visitors, and without appropriate safety barriers to keep visitors safe. How many lives must be lost before the state makes needed changes to keep visitors safe? Please consider signing this petition to bring awareness to this beautiful, but deadly place that has taken soo many lives, and places rescuers at risk with every incident.

I asked the town to put a sign saying how many deaths and rescues have happened in the gorge. By May every year there's a rescue. I was hopeful someone who lives down there would be open to doing it.
Brooke was a special and incredible girl who should still be with us ! Thanks for your efforts.
Please invest some money into safety measures at Zoar Valley Or block dangerous areas off
Changes need to be made immediately to protect these kids from falling to their deaths , or being severely injured, due to unprotected barriers and ill marked trails!
I went to school with Lindsey and I am now 37 year's old and I remember this like it was yesterday. We weren't close in school but I remember all of it. Thing's need to change and now!!
I wish I could have met my aunt, whom know is my angel.

I watch this young lady grow up through the years. She would be fighting for this cause herself if it had happened to any of her friends or family. So yes, this needs to be done to save others. Thank you for your efforts
