Jimmy Dykes has become a tier one hater of the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team. He consistently brags on and praises the other team more. He speaks about Kentucky in a spiteful and condescending tone paired with snide insults of the program and our fans. He is very vocal on questioning calls that go in favor of UK and calling out alleged missed calls that he believes should have been called against UK that would benefit the other team. When a blatant call is missed that would go in Kentucky's favor, he is silent.

Dykes was once an assistant coach at Kentucky and used to be one of the most positive commentators when covering the Cats. I am not sure what happened, but somewhere along the line that soured. He clearly hates Kentucky at this point. He is arrogant, condescending, and calls the game as if he knows it all and has the last word on everything. Yet Kentucky gets stuck with listening to him game after game.

Dykes previously coached the Arkansas women's basketball team from 2014-2017 before resigning. He only had one winning season, 4 games over .500 and won 1 tournament game. He had an abysmal overall record of 43-49, 15-33 in the SEC yet we are forced to listen to his "expertise" on college basketball.

If you're tired of listening to Jimmy Dykes call Kentucky games, please sign this petition to have him banned from calling Kentucky games in the future. It probably won't go anywhere or change anything, but maybe it can get back to him and he can at least feel the discomfort of BBN letting him know how we feel.
