No more IXL for Kelly Mill

I have spent over 60 hours and once spent over 1,100 and 2.5 hours on a SINGLE IXL. I hate it as well, but be careful what you say and do. Backfires happen, and with this...just be very careful what you do. I am for IXL because there is a good chance of the alternative NOT being Khan Academy? You want paper homework? You want freaking DIGITS again? Then support this petition. :(

I am sure your the dummy, as a petition is good evidence as support. If you went to school, you would understand that you need evidence to support your claims. I don't think your small, tiny mind can comprehend this idea, but everybody else can. If you want, you go ask Mr. Sims. I bet you that he will say no. But, since you are stupid enough to critizise us on a PETITION, you are probably not going to.

You guys are idiots. Really? A dang petition to stop IXL? Just ask Mr. Sims for goodness sake. Khan Academy is used by other district schools so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. This is taking a school problem WAY too far. Are you going to make a notes petition next? Use reasoning before going to these conclusions.

Ixl is Dumb

If you did research, you would know it is Khan Academy

Apparently, you did not do your research. There is something called Kahn Academy, and you are stupid enough to not think about that. You go home and do your IXL, and don't blame us when you want to jump out your window.

I may have signed this petition, but I only did so to stress how DUMB this petition is. You all may have valid points but just realizes the consequences could be worse. With IXL most teachers over tutoring that helps you, the alternative MAY NOT HAVE THAT. Appreciate what you have, because it COULD and WILL be worse. I may hate IXL's, but I know that they are still better than some things, which is why I am arguing against this petition.

IXL is very hard and stressful. I once was at a 89 and it brought me down to a 72!

IXL is one of the worst programs ever!! If you do not understand a subject, the IXL's explanation is so confusing, and makes your understanding even worse. When your smart score is high, if you get one wrong, it drops your smart score down by like 10 points. If you get one write, you get 1 or 2 points. This goes on for along time, and the more questions you answer, the more IXL punish's you for getting it wrong. This causes anger and depression, as many people have cried, and slammed their cromebooks because of IXL. Also, my parents also think IXl is trash, and should be replaced by KahnAcademy, as that creates a personalized lesson plan for you, and it's explanations actually makes sense.

IXL is an intially productive program for learning and extra practice. However, when graded, it becomes a stress-inducing nightmare for students. Also, since the amount of points that you receive for correctly answering a question decreases the more questions you have answered, but the amount of points taken for incorrectly answering a question does not, which creates a very one-sided system that can cause A's to turn into B's or B's to turn into C's. I propose that we still practice using IXL, but no more graded homework on IXL.

i hate ixl you answer to many questions but when you get one wrong its like you never got some of them right

I hate IXL. It takes up to much time because every question you get wrong drops you down so many points and once you get past 90 it starts going by one then drops you back to the 70s and it is ridiculous and no one likes it.

78tI completely agree to these terms I think we should go back to good old paper homework that we check every morning. If you get something incorrect on IXL depending how far ahead you are it takes you down a ton of points but then the very next question you only gain one point.
